Geotextile export to Norway

A trial order from Norway

We recently exported polypropylene geotextile to a customer in Norway. The buyer is planning a large geotextile purchase and placed a trial order first to confirm quality before committing to volume — a common and sensible approach for a new supply relationship.

Material and roll specification

The supplied material was a 150 g/m2 staple-fibre needle-punched geotextile made from virgin polypropylene and heat-treated on both sides for a stable, fused surface. Rolls were produced at 5 m width and 100 m length, with a roll diameter of around 30 cm.

Why polypropylene staple-fibre nonwoven

Needle-punched PP geotextile offers reliable separation, filtration and protection in civil and drainage works. The virgin-resin feedstock and double-side heat treatment give consistent strength and good resistance to UV and chemical exposure, which matters for installations exposed to the elements.

Manufacturing capacity

Production runs on our own geotextile lines, so a trial order can scale into a full container order on schedule. Buyers who need to verify the material can request datasheets and samples before placing volume orders.
