Geobag / Geotube Geotube
Geotube (geotextile dewatering tube) — a large prefabricated woven-geotextile tube for sludge dewatering, dredge containment and shoreline structures.
- Woven geotextile
- Dewatering
- Custom-sized
Our geobag and geotube range turns high-strength geotextile into sand- and slurry-filled containers. As a geobag and geotube manufacturer and supplier we sew woven and nonwoven geotextile into the geotextile bag and the large dewatering geotube, used for erosion control, shoreline defence and sludge dewatering.
Both are containers made from engineered geotextile. A geobag (geotextile bag or geo bag) is a sand-filled unit stacked to build revetments, breakwaters, groynes and scour protection — geotextile sandbags that resist wave and current action far longer than loose fill. A geotube (geotextile tube) is a large tubular container pumped full of slurry; the geotextile retains solids while water bleeds out, so the dewatering geotube is widely used for sludge dewatering, dredging and sediment containment.
Use the geobag for marine and riverbank erosion control, coastal protection, levee armouring and temporary cofferdams; sizes are tailored to the structure. Use the dewatering geotube for sludge and dredged-material dewatering, tailings, and shoreline and erosion-control structures where the filled tube becomes a permanent berm. See our geobag and geotube for fabric grade and fill recommendations.
